My women’s empowerment business that I started in 2000, was called Ruby Slippers, and in workshops and retreats I taught that our intuition was our own internal version of the ruby slippers – getting us to where we want to go (if we listen to it!). But this talk blew it all up for me. I had found the elixir!

My biggest accomplishment over the COVID months was writing my first book "Ordinary Miracles ~ Life After Loss" a memoir of our journey written to help the widowed community to find the strength to love themselves and remember how important they are.

I may as well have had a machete in my hand carving a holistic path in Toronto’s very traditional and rather conservative culture in the early 90’s.
