>“The most valuable gift you can give yourself is the time to nurture the unique spirit that is you”
I am a 51-year-old mother and wife.
I grew up in Unionville and now live in Leaside, an area I dreamt of living as a young adult.
I have always been lucky to have a great group of friends, but have found that as I grow my tribe of girlfriends has grown with me.
These friendships propel me forward and encourage me to live my best life in my best light.
Like many of us, I have travelled my own journey that has taken me to a place of brokenness.
In 2007 as a new mom to a beautiful baby boy, I was widowed at the age of 37.
My first husband was an incredible man and was taken from us way too young. I was left to raise our son and manage the grief of our tragic loss.
I made a promise to the universe that I would give our son a happy, loving beautiful life.
My journey of loss was full of heartache, pain and gapping invisible scars. It was also full of love, support, family, friends and hope.
In 2012, I was given a beautiful second chance at life and love when I met my husband Mike.
A man that was brave enough to fall in love with me when I was still very fragile. His promise was that he would help and hold me on my path of healing. He held true to his promise and here we are 9 years later, 7 years married, a beautiful, happy family.
Yoga was a big part of my healing and over the past 3 years to help myself and others I have turned my passion for yoga and mindfulness into a business.
I became a certified Mindful Meditation Coach, and Hatha, Restorative and Kids Yoga Instructor.
My goal is to help others through breath-work and movement manage the challenges of life by bringing balance to mind and body.
My biggest accomplishment over the COVID months was writing my first book “Ordinary Miracles ~ Life After Loss” a memoir of our journey written to help the widowed community to find the strength to love themselves and remember how important they are.
The book launches on November 22! My website is margosage.com / IG @margosagehealthandwellness
